This term year 7 students at Brompton Academy have been playing our carefully curated suite of creative tabletop games &#8211; and using them to inspire imaginative writing. Through these games and writing activities, students have built key literacy and oracy skills, including persuasion, description, creativity, inference, a broad vocabulary, and an understanding of narrative structure and genre.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can read the writing produced by our first cohort of students to undertake this project on the School of English outreach blog <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/questproject\/2019\/06\/13\/its-all-a-game\/\">here<\/a>.
