{"id":1035,"date":"2019-03-18T17:23:28","date_gmt":"2019-03-18T17:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/outreach-news\/?p=1035"},"modified":"2019-03-18T17:23:28","modified_gmt":"2019-03-18T17:23:28","slug":"spanish-workshops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/outreach-news\/2019\/03\/18\/spanish-workshops\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Modern Languages at the University of Kent is delighted to offer a series of school workshops in Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Calvo-Ferrer, from the University of Alicante, will be visiting the University from 1 \u2013 5 April and is available to deliver a number of workshops in schools in Kent and Medway to support GSCE and A Level Spanish classes.\u00a0 Jos\u00e9 is an excellent teacher and communicator and well able to adapt his workshops to fit the needs of a particular group of students.\u00a0 There is no charge for these workshops.<\/p>\n<p>He can offer the following workshops:<\/p>\n<p><strong>GCSE <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Verbs. Uses of <em>ser<\/em> and <em>estar<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Identity and culture &#8211; \u00a0Technology in everyday life<\/li>\n<li>Current and future study and employment and jobs, career choices and ambitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>A-Level<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aspects of Hispanic society. Cyberspace (El ciberespacio).<\/li>\n<li>Verbs. Pret\u00e9rito vs. Imperfecto.<\/li>\n<li>Films.
