The School of Biosciences is pleased to announce a new two-part workshop available to students from Year 11-13 in all Partner and KMPF Schools.
Part 1 of the session allows students to create their own virus, including aspects such as epidemiology, transmission, symptomology etc.
Part 2 of the session follows with students exchanging their viruses and then trying to develop a plan in order to contain/eradicate the virus, taking into account the features described in the previous part of the session. A discussion follows in order to ascertain whether the students would have been successful in stopping their virus.
This session can be delivered in school or on campus and can be organised at a time which is convenient for the school.
