Post-16 Outreach 2025

Updated FEB 25

We have had a busy start to the term in Post-16, and had the pleasure of working with hundreds of sixth form students across our schools. However, we have a packed calendar of events and activities remaining with capacity left, both in school and on campus. Our Year 12 Exploring Uni Visit Days are still open for bookings, as are our workshops, skills building sessions, online livestreams and assembly talks (all detailed below). Please do get in touch with the team to discuss your needs.

Key events and activities this term:

There are spaces left on our Year 12 Exploring Uni Visit Days (Canterbury campus), plus our full range of in-school workshops and assembly talks covering key information and skills building.

We are also still booking our Degree for a Day programme (max 30 students), replicating an academic day for HE students. Year 12 or 13s can join us for an immersive subject experience, sampling a lecture, library research day and a seminar to discuss their findings. Subjects on offer currently include Psychology, Law, English, Classics, History and Maths.

For Year 13s and their parents/supporters, we have our series of livestream events, offering support during key points in the UCAS cycle. Our next event – A Guide to Student Finance – is on 11 March, 18.00-18.45.

Our comprehensive curriculum supports year 12 and 13 students during every step of their HE journey, from exploration, to application and transition. The full brochure can be accessed here (if you would like a physical copy, please email outreach@kent.ac.uk).
