Outreach Core Curriculum Offer – Early Booking Recommended

Years 12-13 Journey to Uni

A programme of talks designed to give your students an insight into what it is like to study at university and whether higher education is the right option for them. This includes a visit to the University of Kent Canterbury campus.

Years 12-13 (Parents) The Value of Higher Education

For parents with children in years 12 and 13, this talk explains the benefits and advantages of going to university.

Library Research Days (Year 12 and 13)

Delivered in one of the University’s libraries, this session is designed for students in post-16 education who are undertaking a research task. The day can include a session on research sources and referencing and provides an insight into the extensive library facilities available on a university campus.

Year 12 Succeed (Eligibility criteria applies)  

A programme run over a sustained period, designed to help young people in Kent and Medway to explore the opportunities and challenges offered by higher education in a safe, inclusive environment, with the support of friendly, knowledgeable University staff and ambassadors.

Year 12 Summer Schools (Eligibility criteria applies)

An opportunity for students to explore their options and experience University life at our summer programmes
on the Canterbury campus (residential/non-residential opportunities available).
