Business Outreach – Introducing Brendan Hammond

We would like to introduce Brendan Hammond, who has recently joined Kent Business School (KBS) as outreach officer and has exciting plans for business related activities in partner schools and colleges. Read on to be introduced to Brendan and to find out how you can help shape upcoming KBS outreach activity.

My name is Brendan Hammond and I am the new Outreach Officer for the Kent Business School at the University of Kent. As a world leading business school, endorsed in areas including teaching excellence, knowledge generation, research and innovation, we are keen to share our expertise and passion with the younger generation, raising their aspirations in the world of higher education, business and beyond. At KBS we are committed to offering engaging outreach activities to all, through our partnerships with our central outreach team, KMPF and our partner schools and colleges. Our aim is to provide students with the opportunity to experience what studying business in higher education might be like and to meet our fantastic academics and supporting student ambassadors. We are in the early stages of designing these activities and would like to research the current demand from school and college staff. I would be very grateful if you could spare two minutes of your time to complete a survey  about your needs and interests here. The survey will remain open until 18th May.

In addition we will be hosting a virtual open event at 1.30pm on 7th July for our partner schools and colleges to come along and meet us to discuss how we can best support your students – please use the following link to register: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJwkcuivrjsvH9YtqWykJP44_F0PuPP6cdYP

If you would like to get in touch by email I can be contacted at b.hammond@kent.ac.uk.  Thank you for your time – it is very much appreciated.
