We very much hope that teachers and students are feeling relaxed and relieved now that exams, coursework and other assessments are all over. Next month students will receive their results and hopefully, confirmation of their place at the university of their choice.
However, occasionally things don’t work out quite as planned. If you are a teacher or a student at a Kent Partner school or college or one which is a member of the Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF), you may like to know who you can call at the University of Kent for advice about applications to the University after the results are published. From 7.30 a.m. on 15 August 2019 the University will open its Clearing Hotline which can by contacted by ringing 01227 768896. The clearing team will be able to advise students on the status of applications with us, post results, and provide information about which courses at Kent still have spaces if students find that their results are below the offer level required for the course for which they originally applied. More details about clearing can be found on our website.
For Partner and KMPF schools, staff in the Partnership Development Office will also be standing by to offer help and advice, if students need it, once they have their results. Students should always contact the Clearing Hotline number (see above) in the first instance. However, if you are worried and would like to talk to a member of the schools’ team at greater length please call 01227 824149.
In the meantime, we hope that you are able to enjoy your summer and relax.
