José Ramón Calvo-Ferrer, from the University of Alicante, will be visiting the University from 1 – 5 April and is available to deliver a number of workshops in schools in Kent and Medway to support GSCE and A Level Spanish classes.  José is an excellent teacher and communicator and well able to adapt his workshops to fit the needs of a particular group of students.  There is no charge for these workshops.

He can offer the following workshops:

GCSE

  • Verbs. Uses of ser and estar.
  • Identity and culture –  Technology in everyday life
  • Current and future study and employment and jobs, career choices and ambitions.

  • Verbs. Pretérito vs. Imperfecto.

If there is another topic, whether grammatical or theme-related which you would consider useful, he is very happy to respond.

To book, please email outreach@kent.ac.uk with your preferred date and time (within the week beginning 1 April) and the session you would like José to deliver.  It would be helpful if you could indicate the likely group size and any particular reguirements.

Please note that as Jose is not a University of Kent employee, he has not undergone a UK Disclosure and Barring Check.

Please do not hesitate to get back to us with any questions.
