Architecture Summer School

From the 16 to 18 July, just under 30 year 9 and 10 students from 3 partner schools participated in the Architecture Summer School delivered by the Kent School of Architecture. The students were challenged to design multi-use work/living spaces for a group of characters. These various buildings were also to be designed for specific plots on an ‘estate’ centred around the labyrinth on Elliott hill. Students sketched and modelled their buildings, and then took part on a ‘crit’ workshop as well as a group presentation of plans in the beautiful sunshine on Wednesday afternoon.
