Through a series of four sessions, this course aims to introduce A-level and BTEC students to issues about the rhetorical function of media and to develop their analytical skills, while giving students a taste of undergraduate seminars in media studies.
Students will specifically explore these issues through the medium of cartooning, although they will continually be invited to reflect on parallels to other media.
This module is suitable for students in their first year of study for Level 3 courses and can be delivered in-school or in a Further Education College.
