The transitions project is designed to stretch and challenge High Achievers in Year 7 or 8. This project involves three sessions (two hours each) in school and a campus visit to one of the University’s campuses.
This project involves asking students to reflect on their experience of moving from primary to secondary schools, culminating in a presentation to school staff about their thoughts and recommended changes. The project will increase students’ confidence in their public speaking skills, as well as support them with their research skills.
It is suitable for a maximum of 30 students, working in groups of 5.
