The University of Kent will soon be holding our intensive A-level refresher sessions for Sixth Form students. These will cover both Maths and Physics and will build upon the very successful sessions that we have held over the last two years.
The refresher sessions will be supported by our own Undergraduate students, who recently sat their A-levels and are now studying for a degree in a STEM subject. As well as offering specimen exam paper solutions, we will provide free resources that have been designed by our students, for your students.
Each week we will focus specifically on one topic from the A-Level Maths and Physics syllabus that students typically find problematic. We will also encourage community learning between Year 12 and Year 13 students, although everyone is welcome to turn up and get on with their work individually!
The sessions will be delivered on Wednesday evenings from 16:30-18:30 in the Sibson Lecture Theatre 2 at the University of Kent Canterbury Campus. They will take place on the following dates; 18th April, 25th April, 2nd May, 9th May, 16th May and 23rd May.
We ask that schools please suggest up to six students each from Year 12 and Year 13 by completing the online form that is linked to below:
