The Department of English Language and Linguistics are keen to visit schools to talk to sixth formers about studying English Language and/or Linguistics at University. Many students are unaware of the opportunities an English Language degree can offer and the session will include an overview of what is included in a degree and the kind of careers it can lead to. The sessions will be interactive and can be tailored to suit individual school timetables and needs. The department can also provide subject-based sessions and can tailor these to individual school timetables and needs.
