The title painting in the series is also linked to a performance of Pergolesi&#8217;s magnificent\u00a0<em>Stabat Mater<\/em>, which the Chamber Choir performs in the Cathedral Crypt next week, for which Adam&#8217;s painting features on the programme cover.
