In addition to introducing new and interesting concepts at the forefront of scientific research, the exhibition aims to encourage the viewer to explore their own perspectives on art within the context of the biological sciences.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8016\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2017\/01\/IMG_1254-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"img_1254\" width=\"451\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2017\/01\/IMG_1254.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2017\/01\/IMG_1254-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2017\/01\/IMG_1254-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 451px) 100vw, 451px\" \/>The exhibition forms the backdrop to an exciting lunchtime concert on <strong>Weds 1 February<\/strong> in the concert-hall,\u00a0<em>Cellular Dynamics<\/em>, which brings together science and music in image-projection\u00a0and time-lapse photography, accompanied by live music for piano by Philip Glass and Tarik O&#8217;Regan, and Gavin Bryars&#8217;\u00a0<em>My First Homage<\/em> for two pianos, performed by Dan Harding and Matthew King (details <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/music\/whatson.html?tab=february\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free, and the exhibition is on display during building opening hours.
