Regular readers (yes, both of you&#8230;) will have seen I&#8217;ve written about Trish before <a title=\"Worried about the future of British jazz ? Then listen to this\u2026\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/2011\/05\/17\/worried-about-the-future-of-british-jazz-then-listen-to-this\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and a couple of features over on the Big Band blog <a title=\"View online\" href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/onthebeat?s=Trish+Clowes\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, since hearing her burst onto the scene at the &#8216;BBC Presents&#8217; stage at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival back in 2011.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-5241\" alt=\"Trish_Clowes\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2013\/07\/Trish_Clowes-300x199.jpg\" width=\"216\" height=\"143\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2013\/07\/Trish_Clowes-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2013\/07\/Trish_Clowes.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 216px) 100vw, 216px\" \/>Trish is currently enjoying the status of this year&#8217;s Radio 3 New Generation Jazz Artist, and the gig showcases both familiar tracks and some new pieces.
