{"id":3203,"date":"2011-10-28T09:55:01","date_gmt":"2011-10-28T08:55:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/?p=3203"},"modified":"2011-10-28T09:55:29","modified_gmt":"2011-10-28T08:55:29","slug":"at-the-festival-scholars-recital-this-afternoon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/2011\/10\/28\/at-the-festival-scholars-recital-this-afternoon\/","title":{"rendered":"At the Festival: Scholars recital this afternoon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The slightly damp weather this morning will be lightened with the forecast of some sunny music-making this afternoon, as some of our <strong>Music Scholars<\/strong> give their annual lunchtime recital in this year&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canterburyfestival.co.uk\/\"><strong>Canterbury Festival<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After weeks of rehearsals, the Festival Club will come alive at 1pm to the music of Gershwin, Saint-Saens, Delibes, Granados and more, as some of the stars of tomorrow appear today.
