This week, <strong>Susannah Wharfe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p><strong>When were you at Kent ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2339\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2339\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2339 \" style=\"border: 5px solid black;margin-left: 5px;margin-right: 5px\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2010\/11\/wharfe-300x270.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2010\/11\/wharfe-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/music-matters\/files\/2010\/11\/wharfe.jpg 546w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2339\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lady Sings the Blues: Susannah Wharfe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I was at Kent from September 2008 \u2013 November 2009.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What subject did you study ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I studied for a Masters in International Conflict Analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What occupation are you now engaged in ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Officially, as in my paid job, I work for a Social Mechanics Agency, called Kinship Networking.\u00a0 We\u2019re based in Shoreditch, London, and look at providing solutions for businesses using \u2018socialness\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Unofficially I have two other \u2018jobs\u2019 &#8211; helping run an up-and-coming theatre company called Pilotlight Theatre, as well as writing and recording my own music, and playing whenever I can.<\/p>\n<p>(For note, I perform under my nickname, zanna wharfe)<\/p>\n<p><strong>If music is not your profession, do you participate in any musical experiences now ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m still heavily involved in music, but mostly from a personal, solo perspective.\u00a0 I\u2019m currently writing my own material, as well as helping out with backing tracks and covers for various little projects.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve also got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/zannawharfe.\" target=\"_blank\">MySpace page<\/a>.
