His external PhD examiner was Prof. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reading.ac.uk\/biologicalsciences\/about\/staff\/i-m-jones.aspx\">Ian Jones<\/a>\u00a0from Reading University. Congratulations !!!! George undertook his thesis on the &#8220;DEVELOPMENT OF HYBRID HAEMAGGLUTININ PSEUDOTYPED LENTIVIRUSES TO ASSESS HETEROSUBTYPIC IMMUNITY TO INFLUENZA&#8221;. In his first year George authored an influential review article on influenza pseudotyping in Frontiers in Immunology which can be viewed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.frontiersin.org\/articles\/10.3389\/fimmu.2015.00161\/full\">here.<\/a>\u00a0To date this review has had over 9000 views and 1400 downloads.
