Visit to the University of Siena

Today I visited the University of Siena, Italy. It is one of the oldest universities in Italy, established in 1240. The university now offers a significant provision of degree courses taught in English. Information on these can be found here. I am investigating the potential to set up a student exchange program between Kent and Siena, and also a short-period faculty swap for reciprocal lecture provision with Prof. Emanuele Montomoli from the Department of Molecular and Developmental Medicine.
