This was their first opportunity to showcase their research at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\">Medway School of Pharmacy<\/a> Annual PhD Presentations event, in front of their peers and the school&#8217;s academic staff.<\/p>\n<p>Giulia is interested in identifying the neurones and mechanisms underlying simple motor decision-making in the hatchling tadpole: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/msop-neurobiology\/files\/2018\/12\/Giulia_poster2018.pdf\">Giulia_poster2018<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Michelle&#8217;s work focuses on deciphering the role of midbrain in survival behaviour: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/msop-neurobiology\/files\/2018\/12\/Michelle_poster2018-.pdf\">Michelle_poster2018<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Four judges, Professors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/clinical-professional\/krska_janet.html\">Janet Krska<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/biological\/ushkaryov_yuri.html\">Yuri Ushkaryov<\/a> and Drs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/clinical-professional\/corlett_sarah.html\">Sarah Corlett<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/biological\/sumbayev_vadim.html\">Vadim Sumbayev<\/a>, awarded the prize for Best Poster Presentation to Michelle!
