The aim of their project is to identify how the midbrain interacts with motor circuits to produce swim behaviour in the <em>Xenopus laevis <\/em>tadpole. The&#8217;ve done a great job presenting their preliminary data on how sensory information is integrated by the midbrain and discussing future experimental plans with their course colleagues and academic staff.<\/p>\n<p>We certainly look forward to their future findings and reading their dissertation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shazia Islam and Janet Osisanya are Pharmacy students carrying out their research project in our lab.
