Helin is a MPharm student who joined the Neurobiology lab in October 2019. Helin will be part of our group until the end of 2020 academic year. In broad terms, Helin’s research focuses on understanding the role of the developing midbrain in the initiation of locomotion. Helin has demonstrated an amazing experimental aptitude for both behavioural and electrophysiological techniques and she has already contributed high quality data to this project.
Outside the lab, Helin leads a very busy life. She attends taught pharmacy modules, works in her local pharmacy during the weekends and she enjoys cooking in her spare time!
