Giulia Messa, final year PhD student in the Neurobiology Group, has been awarded The Company of Biologists Travelling Fellowship. This funding will enable Giulia to spend the summer of 2021 in the laboratory of Dr Wenchang Li, St Andrews University, where she will learn to combine Ca2+ imaging with whole-cell recordings in situ.
Upon her return to Medway, Giulia will describe her experience at St Andrews and show us some of her new data in a separate blog post. Please stay tuned!
