Shazia Islam and Janet Osisanya are Pharmacy students carrying out their research project in our lab. The aim of their project is to identify how the midbrain interacts with motor circuits to produce swim behaviour in the Xenopus laevis tadpole. The’ve done a great job presenting their preliminary data on how sensory information is integrated by the midbrain and discussing future experimental plans with their course colleagues and academic staff.
We certainly look forward to their future findings and reading their dissertation!
