The Centre for Medieval and Early Modern Studies (MEMS) students have an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience through the <strong>2026\u20132027 Stately Community Internship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livinghistoryuk.com\/\">Living History Films<\/a> is offering two exclusive internships for MEMS students to work on <strong>Stately<\/strong>, a brand-new online membership community dedicated to British history, historic houses, royal history, period drama and heritage. Designed to fit alongside your studies, this placement offers valuable insight into alternative careers for historians beyond traditional academia.<\/p>\n<p>Based at Mapperton House in Dorset, Living History Films was founded by Luke and Julie Montagu, the Earl and Countess of Sandwich, and is renowned for producing engaging digital content that brings Britain&#8217;s stately homes and heritage to audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>This internship is ideal for students with strong research and writing skills, a keen interest in British history and heritage, and a desire to develop experience in digital publishing, audience engagement and heritage communications.
