This fantastic research on penitential tales and rhymes of the fourteenth century <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epoch-magazine.com\/post\/the-witch-and-her-cow-sucking-bag-saving-souls-in-the-fourteenth-century\">can be read here.<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><span class=\"mark242ucebbo\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">EPOCH<\/span> is co-edited by another MEMS PhD student, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epoch-magazine.com\/vincent-kennedy\">Vincent Kennedy<\/a>. It was created to give postgraduates and ECRs a platform to publish their work and to engage with a wider audience within academia and beyond.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">While we hold ourselves and our contributors to a high academic standard, we designed <span class=\"mark242ucebbo\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">EPOCH<\/span>\u00a0to be accessible to non-specialists and non-academics. We publish new research from emergent historians in a friendly format.
