Yesterday, 20th November, was a special date in the MEMS calendar as our most recent cohort of MA students graduated. All of us in our community want to wish the newly minted graduates our warmest congratulations on their achievement.
MEMS Director, Dr Suzanna Ivanic, expressed our collective best wishes: ‘A MEMS MA is no pushover – and that is what makes it so worthwhile. Well done on rising to all that was asked of you. We know you are leaving us enriched with well-hewn skills and new insights. We have enjoyed working with you and wish you all the best in your future careers’.
The graduations take place in the historic surroundings of England’s oldest cathedral, a setting already known to anyone in MEMS, as we have classes in Canterbury Cathedral Archives. In that sense, graduation was a welcome home of our newest alumni.
