We have previously screened the former at Halloween <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/melodramaresearchgroup\/2018\/11\/08\/summary-of-discussion-on-the-bat-whispers\/\">(https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/melodramaresearchgroup\/2018\/11\/08\/summary-of-discussion-on-the-bat-whispers\/)<\/a>\u00a0<em>Night of the Demon\u00a0<\/em>seems especially appropriate, however,\u00a0 for the season. (I have indeed Christmassifed the images from the films to make both seem more festive!)\u00a0 <em>Night of\u00a0 the Demon<\/em> is an adaption\u00a0 of MR James&#8217; short story &#8216;The Casting of the Runes&#8217;.
