<\/a><\/p>\n28 June marks the 52nd anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in 1969, and so LGBT+ colleagues and allies are warmly invited to join us on the Canterbury Campus from 17.00 on that Monday for a low-key post-work picnic.<\/p>\n
Bring yourself, some drinks and some nibbles and meet us on the lawns between Rutherford and Eliot Colleges. All LGBT+ staff and allies are welcome. University of Kent rainbow lanyards will be available for anyone who wants one while stocks last!<\/p>\n
For more information contact\u00a0lgbtstaffnetwork@kent.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Monthly informal lunches will take place between 12noon and 2pm in the Gulbenkian Cafe in Canterbury and the No1 Bistro in Medway.<\/p>\n You are welcome to bring your own lunch or get food from the venue, or just come along for a cuppa and chat. There is no need to attend for the whole time; these are meant as informal social get-togethers.<\/p>\n The Network runs regular formal meetings exploring its agenda to support staff at the University.
