To mark LGBT History Month 2017, the University of Kent LGBT+ Staff Network,\u00a0in partnership with\u00a0Kent Union and the LGBT+ student society,\u00a0has organised\u00a0a number of\u00a0events\u00a0to promote awareness of LGBT issues and history on campus and provide opportunities for LGBT staff and allies to network and socialise. To mark the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalization of male homosexuality, this year’s theme is ‘Law and Citizenship’.<\/p>\n

Events\u00a0are open to all (regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity or expression), including staff, students, alumni and the public. We will be raising funds for Stonewall<\/a> throughout the month at events and various outlets across the campus and would be grateful for any and all donations you might be able to make. Plus, look out for our rainbow pin badges and wear yours with pride!<\/p>\n
