Applications and Case Studies

The digital classrooms are used by academics in different disciplines for innovative teaching, to foster students’ active learning and group work, but also to deliver new approaches to assessment and marking.

Possible uses include group and collaborative work where students mirror their own devices on the repeater screens, research and presentation skills enhancement and training, peer-feedback, use of the touch-screen for marking interactive documents and more.

The three case studies below show how the rooms were used in three different subject areas: for collaborative revision sessions in Physics, for Film Studies seminars and for producing and marking interactive posters in Business.
