Our new SharePoint site is now home to all of our staff guidance, updated and ready to help support you in the new academic year.
Over the last few months we have been working hard to update and migrate all of our staff guidance onto a new SharePoint site. This is part of the KentNet project, which will be the new staff intranet, information on which you can find on the KentNet support SharePoint site.
How do I access the E-Learning SharePoint site?
You can use the link below to access our SharePoint site.
We suggest you click “Not Following” in the top right to start following the site, adding it to your list of Followed Sites. This makes it easier to find it in the future.
What resources are available?
We have guides on using the Learning Technologies available at the University of Kent such as Moodle, KentPlayer and Turnitin. These range from the basics such as how to record a lecture with Panopto and KentPlayer, to more advanced guides such as restricting access to content in your Moodle modules. Some other examples are;
- Using Moodle Activity Completion to monitor student engagement.
- Using Rubrics and Grading Forms in Turnitin.
- Managing permissions in KentPlayer.
All our guidance will be updated over time as the technologies we use evolve, and we are adding new guidance frequently.
How can I find what I need?
Our guides are broken down into categories based on Technology (Moodle, Turnitin etc.) but if you aren’t sure which guide has what you need, you can use the search bar at the top of the site.
Any pages that contain the search term will be shown, making it easy to find what you need.
