Kent Law Review (KLR) is now opening applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief (EIC) for Issue 11.<\/p>\n

We invite expressions of interest from current and former Kent Law Review members, including students and alumni of Kent Law School (LLB, LLM, and PhD candidates\/graduates) who are committed to advancing high-quality academic legal scholarship.<\/p>\n

Key Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applications open: 22 April<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deadline for submission: 6 May<\/strong><\/p>\n

Announcement of EIC: 20 May<\/strong><\/p>\n

Transition & handover: To follow thereafter (leading into production of Issue 11)<\/p>\n

How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interested applicants should submit the following via email to: kentlawreview@kent.ac.uk<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)<\/li>\n
  2. Statement of Interest (max. 500 words) outlining your vision for the Kent Law Review, your editorial experience and contributions to KLR; how you would contribute to the development, academic quality, and organisational management of the Review as Editor-in-Chief<\/li>\n
  3. Samples of previously published work (if any) or academic writing<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Applications will be assessed based on:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Prior experience and contribution to previous Kent Law Review issues<\/li>\n
    2. Demonstrated commitment to KLR editorial work and academic publishing<\/li>\n
    3. Existing academic writing and\/or publications<\/li>\n
    4. Proven editorial, organisational, and leadership capacity<\/li>\n
    5. Academic Editors may select more than one candidate if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Commitment<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The EIC role requires a commitment of approximately 3\u20135 hours per week, beginning 30 June 2026, through to the completion and production of Issue 11.<\/p>\n
