Professor Marie-B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Dembour, Human Rights Centre, University of Ghent, will be on campus to talk about &#8216;The four-school human rights model: Pushing its logic further.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Professor Dembour is professor of Law and Anthropology at the Human Rights Centre, University of Ghent.\u00a0 She is the author of Who Believes in Human Rights? (2006) and the award winning When Humans become Migrants (2015).\u00a0 She is currently leading an ESRC funded five years research project: &#8216;DISSECT: Evidence in International Human Rights Adjudication.&#8217; DISSECT explores the evidentiary regimes of the world\u2019s three regional human rights courts and two UN quasi-judicial bodies.<\/p>\n<p>The free event takes place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/maps\/canterbury\/canterbury-campus\/building\/darwin-college\/dlt1\">Darwin Lecture Theatre 2<\/a> at 18.00, ending at approximately 19.30 GMT.
