{"id":5735,"date":"2020-09-18T15:06:19","date_gmt":"2020-09-18T14:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/?p=5735"},"modified":"2020-09-18T15:06:19","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T14:06:19","slug":"important-update-re-blended-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/important-update-re-blended-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"Important update re blended learning at Kent Law School for new and returning students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\">For new and\u00a0returning students at Kent Law School, our blended learning approach this Autumn term means you have a choice of both online and on-campus learning opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Your learning is important to us and we want to be sure we can meet your choices (and needs) as\u00a0fairly as\u00a0possible.<\/p>\n<p>In order to do this, we\u2019ve made the following adjustments to teaching arrangements at KLS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Initially, all curriculum activities will be delivered online<\/li>\n<li>Between Monday 5 October and Thursday 8 October, we\u2019ll ask you to decide whether you want to study online or on-campus for the choice of learning opportunities available at your stage<\/li>\n<li>Once all choices are made, we will work towards meeting your\u00a0choices\u00a0for on-campus learning<\/li>\n<li>On-campus learning is planned to begin in Week 4 (the week beginning Monday 19 October)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are\u00a0a number of\u00a0advantages to this approach:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you\u2019re arriving on campus\u00a0and\u00a0required to self-isolate\u00a0at the beginning of term, you won\u2019t miss out on any face-to-face learning opportunities<\/li>\n<li>You will be able to discover what online learning is like before\u00a0making a decision\u00a0about whether to switch to on-campus learning (where it\u2019s available)<\/li>\n<li>Student life is going to be a bit different this term because of the new safety measures &#8211;
