Out of this total number, o<span class=\"s1\">nly 33 UK law schools made the list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Within the ranking, Kent is <span class=\"s1\">18th in the world for &#8216;international outlook&#8217; and is listed among the top 60 best law schools in the world for research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The THE World University Rankings are the only global performance tables that judge research-intensive universities across\u00a013 carefully calibrated performance indicators, grouped into five key areas: teaching (the learning environment); research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence); international outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (knowledge transfer).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the THE World University Rankings, Kent Law School performs strongly in two other leading global league tables; Kent is ranked among\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">the top 150 law schools in the world in the 2019 Shanghai Ranking&#8217;s Global Ranking of Academic Subject and among <\/span>the top 200 law schools in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Kent Law School also maintains a strong and consistent performance in all three major UK league tables, with a top 20 ranking in all three for 2020: <span class=\"s1\">16th in <i>The Guardian University Guide<\/i> 2020 for law;
