The School is also ranked 17<sup>th<\/sup> in the UK for research quality within the latest ranking.<\/p>\n<p>Through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/law\/research\">our research<\/a>, the Law School seeks to make meaningful contributions to people and society both nationally and internationally. The success of our challenging and supportive research culture is reflected in our securing of research funding, prizes and awards; in external assessments such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/research\/ref2014\/uoa\/law.html\">Research Excellence Framework<\/a>; and in our ability to attract outstanding international visitors and research students.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Complete University Guide<\/em> (CUG) is a trusted and influential resource long used by students looking to study at university. This year it ranked 103 UK law school against five measures which also include student satisfaction, graduate prospects and entry standards.<\/p>\n<p>Kent Law School is proud to retain its top 20 position in all three major UK league tables (currently also 11<sup>th<\/sup> in <em>The Times Good University Guide<\/em> 2019 and 13<sup>th<\/sup> in <em>The Guardian University Guide<\/em> 2019).
