He will receive his honorary Doctor of Laws degree at a ceremony on 15 July, starting at 14.30.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor Antony Anghi<\/strong>e is an academic and international law expert. He will receive his honorary Doctor of Laws degree at a ceremony on 16 July, starting at 10.30.<\/li>\n<li><strong>John Gallagher<\/strong> is a solicitor and specialist in housing law who has worked with the charity Shelter for 25 years. He will receive his honorary Doctor of Laws degree at a ceremony on 17 July, starting at 10.30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The University of Kent confers honorary degrees each year on distinguished individuals from many walks of life who have made a significant contribution to society. Honorary graduates are selected from nominations by members of the University and very often have links with departments or are University of Kent alumni.
