The dazzling series of contributions breathe new life into mordant commonplaces about the role of law today. It is essential reading for the critically-minded in any discipline, and any walk of life.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/law\/people\/academic\/Zartaloudis,_Thanos.html\">Dr Zartaloudis<\/a><\/span><span class=\"s1\"> is a Reader in Legal Theory and History at Kent Law School. \u00a0He is Co-Director of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/sac\/research\/research-centres\/kiss-secondary.html\"><span class=\"s2\">Kent\u2019s Centre for Interdisciplinary Spatial Studies<\/span><\/a><i>\u00a0<\/i>(KISS) and Co-Director of\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbk.ac.uk\/law\/our-research\/research-centres\/centre-for-research-in-political-theology-cript\"><span class=\"s2\">Centre for Research in Political Theology<\/span><\/a><i> <\/i>(Birkbeck Law School\/Kent Law School)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">He is also a Lecturer and Doctoral Advisor at the School of Architecture of the Architectural Association in London. He has published widely in philosophy and law and legal history and is Head Editor of\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/edinburghuniversitypress.com\/series-encounters-in-law-philosophy.html\"><span class=\"s2\"><i>Encounters in Law and Philosophy<\/i><\/span><\/a>\u00a0Book Series (Edinburgh University Press)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">His most recent book is <i>The Birth of Nomos<\/i> (Edinburgh University Press, 2018).
