Research in gender and the law undertaken by a number of academics at Kent Law School will be a feature of a roundtable discussion and book launch (open to all) at 3pm on Friday in Woolf Lecture Theatre.<\/p>\n

The roundtable discussion on gender and the law curriculum, \u2018What\u2019s gender got to do with it\u2019 will precede a launch for Great Debates in Gender and Law<\/a> <\/em>(MacMillan International, 2018) edited by Professor Rosemary Auchmuty (University of Reading).<\/p>\n

The book includes chapters authored by Nick Piska on \u2018Equity and Trusts\u2019, and by Dr Kirsty Horsey and Professor Erika Rackley on \u2018Tort Law\u2019. Both Nick and Dr Horsey will be joining Professor Auchmuty on Friday to discuss their contributions to the book. They will be joined by Kent Law School\u2019s Dr Flora Renz, Dr Suhraiya Jivraj and Dr Sinead Ring, all of whom will be talking about their experience of teaching and research in gender and sexuality.<\/p>\n

The event forms part of the Welcome Week programme for first year undergraduate students but is open to all interested students and staff.<\/p>\n
