{"id":3409,"date":"2018-09-18T10:45:44","date_gmt":"2018-09-18T09:45:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/?p=3409"},"modified":"2019-10-08T16:29:34","modified_gmt":"2019-10-08T15:29:34","slug":"africa-security-summit-at-kent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/africa-security-summit-at-kent\/","title":{"rendered":"Africa Security Summit at Kent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A one-day conference critically examining the ways in which African nations are tackling the evolving threat of global terrorism will be held at Kent on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8216;Africa Security Summit&#8217;, cohosted by Kent Law School\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/law\/cecil\/\">Centre for Critical International Law<\/a> (CeCIL) together with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.africasecurityforum.org.uk\">Africa Security Forum (UK)<\/a>, will begin at 9am in the Wigoder Law Building on Kent\u2019s Canterbury campus.<\/p>\n<p>Among the speakers will be Kent International Commercial Law expert <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/law\/people\/academic\/Oduntan,_Gbenga.html\">Dr Gbenga Oduntan<\/a>.
