{"id":3397,"date":"2018-10-04T09:08:05","date_gmt":"2018-10-04T08:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/?p=3397"},"modified":"2020-02-06T08:35:33","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T08:35:33","slug":"law-school-phd-graduate-awarded-esrc-postdoctoral-fellowship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/law-news\/law-school-phd-graduate-awarded-esrc-postdoctoral-fellowship\/","title":{"rendered":"Law School PhD graduate awarded ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent Law School PhD graduate Dr Aravinda Kosaraju has been awarded a ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship for socio-legal research into crimes of child sexual exploitation.<\/p>\n<p>The 12-month Fellowship, beginning at Kent in October, is funded by a \u00a3115k grant from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).<\/p>\n<p>Dr Kosaraju, who completed her PhD in 2017, will be working with Senior Lecturer Dr Julie McCandless on a project promoting effective approaches to investigation and prosecution for crimes of child sexual exploitation in England.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Kosaraju said: &#8216;I am very grateful for this fellowship from Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
