Following the UK referendum on membership of the EU, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kent and President\u00a0of Universities UK, Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, issued a statement on Friday 24 June affirming Kent\u2019s commitment to remain a European University:<\/p>\n

Head of Kent Law School Professor Toni Williams spoke in support of this commitment:<\/p>\n

We have extensive European and global connections through our student and staff body, our alumni, our research, and our institutional relationships. We value diversity in all ways, and are outward looking and welcoming in all of our intellectual endeavours.
