Research projects undertaken by Kent Law School staff are amongst those featured in a new publication celebrating the far-reaching impact of Kent researchers.<\/p>\n
Kent Research: Making a difference<\/a>, has been produced for the University’s 50th anniversary and highlights the impact Kent researchers make at a regional, national and international level.<\/p>\n Featured projects by Law School staff include the research work of Dr Helen Carr<\/a> (housing reform), Dr Kate Bedford<\/a> (equality in development policy), Professor Rosemary Hunter (the Feminist Judgements Project), Professor William Howarth<\/a> (development of environmental law) and Professor Iain Ramsay<\/a> (insolvency and personal consumer credit.)<\/p>\n Kent Law School is proud of its thriving and active research culture<\/a>, the quality of which is evidenced in the most recent Research Assessment Exercise; the School was rated as the 6th best law school in the UK and 4th by the quality of research considered ‘World Class’ or ‘Internationally Excellent’.
