Simply step outside, exercise your green fingers or organise a games night. You could go for a walk or run, cycle or dance. Exercise releases hormones that make you feel good. Most importantly, being active is about discovering a physical activity you enjoy and that suits your level of mobility and fitness<\/p>\n<p>Exercise is proven to have a hugely positive impact on the quality of life of people affected by mental health \u2013 it can improve our mood, ease stress, reduce anger, alleviate anxiety and slow cognitive decline. It is also known to help us sleep better and build confidence.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/mhukcdn.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/10180126\/StepByStep_banner-201x121.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"heading-6 sub-heading color-primary\">Step out with colleagues<\/h4>\n<div class=\"copy-sm content-block-col__text\">\n<p>Mobilise your colleagues to get involved in a walking challenge during Mental Health Awareness Week.
