{"id":1324,"date":"2019-09-05T09:01:38","date_gmt":"2019-09-05T08:01:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/landodlatestnews\/?p=1324"},"modified":"2019-09-05T09:01:38","modified_gmt":"2019-09-05T08:01:38","slug":"accessibility-tours-2019-20-canterbury-and-medway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/landodlatestnews\/2019\/09\/05\/accessibility-tours-2019-20-canterbury-and-medway\/","title":{"rendered":"Accessibility Tours 2019-20 Canterbury and Medway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The dates for the next round of accessibility tours are now available.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the tour is to get a better understanding of the campus experience for disabled members of staff and students with a view to improve their experience.<\/p>\n<p>Last years tours were a great success, with a number of issues being resolved. All actions were recorded and tracked with works requests via the estates department so we can see the progress being made.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the tours will be on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Routes to and from buildings<br \/>\nAccess into and out of buildings, particularly the new builds and the refurbished building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The tours have been set to occur on the following times this year:<\/p>\n<p><b>14th October 2019\u2013 13.00-15.00 \u2013 Canterbury<\/b><br \/>\n<strong>22nd February 2020 \u2013 13.30-15.00 \u2013 Medway Campus\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>21st May 2020 \u2013 10.00-12.00 \u2013 Canterbury Campus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like your ideas of the locations and areas that we should access.
