Have you had an opportunity yet to join one of our workshops or bite-sized sessions on organisational change?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here in L&OD we\u2019ve put together a range of events and sessions on the topic of \u2018change\u2019. They\u2019re open to all academic and professional services colleagues. They\u2019re designed to offer information, support and opportunities to share ideas and best practice during these times of change.<\/p>\n

We designed the sessions having listened to feedback and suggestions about what colleagues felt would be most helpful as the Organising for Success proposals are developed. The focus is less about the process of change (although we provide some introductory context). It\u2019s more about personal transition \u2013 thinking about our default response to change, how we engage with and support our colleagues, and what we might choose to do differently. We also signpost the wide range of resources that are available at Kent (and elsewhere) that colleagues might find helpful.<\/p>\n

We offer sessions for all staff who want to feel more confident and comfortable working in a changing environment. We host workshops for managers who are keen to offer more focused support to their teams. And we\u2019ve worked with a number of schools and departments to develop sessions that suit them \u2013 perhaps as part of a team day or a facilitated discussion.<\/p>\n

Participants tell us they\u2019ve found the sessions hugely enjoyable as well as informative. One of the biggest benefits has been the opportunity to network across the University \u2013 to share experiences and good ideas, and to find that you have more in common with colleagues working in other disciplines than you might think.<\/p>\n

Although the broad content of the sessions remains consistent, we incorporate the flexibility to increase time spent on those topics which are of most benefit to the group.<\/p>\n

How do I sign up?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We still have some dates available at Canterbury and Medway in June and July. Booking is via Staff Connect. Search for the word \u2018change\u2019 under the Training Request section of your Dashboard and you\u2019ll be directed to the sessions.<\/p>\n
