{"id":4353,"date":"2022-10-11T17:00:12","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T16:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/?p=4353"},"modified":"2022-10-11T17:00:12","modified_gmt":"2022-10-11T16:00:12","slug":"prof-samer-bagaeen-elected-to-the-royal-town-planning-institutes-board-of-trustees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/ksa\/2022\/10\/11\/prof-samer-bagaeen-elected-to-the-royal-town-planning-institutes-board-of-trustees\/","title":{"rendered":"Prof. Samer Bagaeen elected to the Royal Town Planning Institute&#8217;s board of trustees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We\u2019re delighted to announce that<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture-planning\/people\/62\/bagaeen-samer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Samer Bagaeen<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Professor of Planning and Resilient Systems in the Kent School of Architecture and Planning, has been elected by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtpi.org.uk\/results\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Royal Town Planning Institute<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (RTPI) as a Chartered Trustee on the Institute&#8217;s Board of Trustees for the period 2023-2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The RTPI is a leading membership organisation and a Chartered Institute responsible for maintaining professional standards and accrediting world class planning courses nationally and internationally. Samer was one of fourteen members who were elected to the General Assembly based on their vision, competency and passion.
