I found Collective Dwelling incredibly interesting because it introduced a whole host of new concepts and considerations that I felt very engaged with. It gave me confidence in the value of what I was learning as I could see how it would be applied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What made you decide to study your course at University of Kent?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I loved the campus when I came to visit, I just felt as though I could imagine myself studying here.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nAre you a part of any sports or societies? And if so, what\u2019s been your experience? Would you recommend them to fellow\/new students and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In my first year I was involved in Lacrosse, it was a great way to meet like minded people and engage with life outside of architecture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favourite thing about the campus?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s green and walkable!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favourite thing about living in Canterbury?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ease of getting into town, and the campus from all student accommodation (including second and third year!). It feels safe and not so big its beyond me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favourite bar\/caf\u00e9\/restaurant in town or on campus?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Caf\u00e9 des Amis!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you recommend to a new first year student studying your course that would really help them?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enjoy first year, make the most of it and live outside of architecture!
